In early September, the trees groan under the weight of another massive pink and purple crop of Victoria and Marjorie Seedling plums. Again these are delicious fresh, but how about a Plum Cobbler and thick, thick cream?
How we do it
Steps
- Full bloom in early March
- Prune in early May to prevent bacterial canker
- Hand thin the crop to a plum every 10cm
- Feed and protect the crop through the summer months
- Harvest Victorias in late August followed by Marjory seedling
